The XXX star - real name Mark Sinclair Vincent - and model girlfriend, Paloma Jimenez, welcomed their daughter on 2 April (08), reports People.com.

Britney Spears - Rotem Britneys Back

The young music mogul who was caught up in a BRITNEY SPEARS baby scandal last year (07) has lured the pop star back to the studio.

Producer J.R. Rotem has teamed up with hitmaker Sean Garrett to help the pop star make a start on a comeback album.

And he insists Spears is back at her best after a crazy 2007 ended with hospitalisations for a bipolar disorder, custody battles and career issues.

He says, "She's great. She's like a master at what she does. She's a lot more experienced than most people. She just has the 'it' factor that not every artist has.

"It's always nice to work with her."

Rotem briefly dated Spears last year (07) and hit the headlines when he suggested the pop star might be pregnant in a stray text message.

A source close to Spears confirms the singer is working on the "experimental stages" of a new album - the follow-up to Blackout, which was released in October (07).

And Garrett tells People magazine, "I'm just happy to see her back and recovering. She's really shaping up and getting her whole situation back together. I'm really proud and happy to see her."

LATEST: SEAN COMBS has put to rest speculation he is romancing EDDIE MURPHY's ex-wife TRACEY EDMONDS, insisting there is "nothing" between the two of them.

After British newspaper The Daily Mirror printed an alleged quote from Edmonds, referring to Diddy as "the man for me," a spokesperson was quick to refute any romantic link between the 41-year-old movie executive and the hip-hop star.

And now the rapper himself has come forward to put an end to the reports.

He says: "There's nothing between me and Tracey - and Eddie and I are old friends."

Edmonds split from Murphy in January (08), just weeks after they wed in Bora Bora on New Year's Day.

Country artist Phil Vassar [ tickets ] talks like he performs: smooth yet energetic, engaging and thoughtful.At the time of an interview with LiveDaily, Vassar is in a recording studio working on a dance mix of his song "Baby Rocks." "We've had the best time just getting to make a record again that I just wanted to make. They said, 'Go make an album and bring it back.' I haven't been able to do that since my very first record." "Prayer of a Common Man" was a long time in the making. Vassar already was road testing tracks off of it at 2007's Country Thunder festival in Florence, AZ. "Some of the songs that we were playing last year didn't even make the record," he said. "Live, you're always trying to see what goes over well." He's planning on including some of the songs that didn't make it onto "Prayer" on a future album. "I think we've got three or four songs that are definitely going to be on the next album," he said. "I don't have as much time to write as I used to. Every two years, I have to come up with 20 or 30 songs and decide, 'Oh my God, which ones am I going to cut?'"It's always so hard. Then you cut them and you say, 'Oh my gosh, which ones are going to go on the record? Which ones are going to be the single?' It's always a long chain of events. It's crazy."
